Levi's 9th Birthday!!!

On February 8th, my baby boy turned 9 years old!!! This was his 3rd birthday here in the U.S. His first one was a pool party, his second a skating party and this year he had very specific requests;) He wanted  his family dinner at Hacienda. I think mostly because he wanted the birthday sombrero, singing and a mud slide dessert:) After dinner we went back to the house to hang out with family for a little while. It was a GREAT evening and Levi had lots of FUN:) 

We got him headphones...as he requested;)

I think he was just a little excited about the model Grandpa Chuck and Amy got him...

The next evening on February 9th...Levi requested a sleepover with his friends. He is a very outgoing boy and has made lots of great friends in the 2 1/2 years he has been home;)

Lia's FIRST snow adventure!!!:)

On February 6th...Lia has her first real experience with S-N-O-W!!! She is from southern China (about even with Florida here in the U.S:) So...she had probably never seen snow and most definitely never played in it. She had a BLAST!!! 

Purdue University...

On Tuesday, February 5th...Lance, Lia, Liam and I took a day trip to Purdue University.  A group of Purdue engineering students have offered to design and make a new, more functional prosthetic for Liam's leg that has the PFFD. The one he currently has does its job but doesn't allow Liam to ride a bike or run very well. We are super excited to see what they come up with at Purdue:) They interviewed Liam about what he would like from his new prosthetic and took measurements of his legs, current prosthetic, etc... It was a chilly day but we did walk around the campus a bit and show Lia and Liam the sights:)

Honors Program:)

Here is a picture that Lance took Tuesday, January 29th at the Lakeview Middle School Honors Program:) We are proud of Leytan. He has great study skills, priorities and makes good choices. Keep up the GREAT work son!!!

I am still in denial that Landan is now a Freshman...and that he should be going to these kinds of dances but apparently, he IS;( Seriously, it seems like I was just walking him in to his first day of kindergarden a couple years ago. Time flies!!! The big night was on Saturday, January 26th:)
