On October 19th, Liam and I made our every 6 mo. visit to Chicago to see our favorite pediatric orthopedic surgeon...Dr. Albert Knuth:) No...he hasn't had very much luck lengthening Liam's leg but we think he genuinely cares about Liam. He has a HUGE heart! It is always a loooong day in the van but one I don't mind to much. Liam is a good little traveler...watches movies and sleeps. I get to do a lot of talking to God, listening to music and just enjoying doing nothing;)

Unfortunately Liam is now about 5 1/2 inches shorter on his left leg:(
Liam will continue to wear his prosthetic to school 5 days a week and as he wants on the weekends. I know that someday...he won't have a choice, so we don't push him to wear it, except for when doctor orders. The screws in his hip look fine, at this time, but will probably have to be replaces at some point. Today we are thankful that all is going well... God is faithful and he is taking good care of my boy:)
